Healdsburg District Hospital is proud to be establishing a tradition of excellence as recognized by Avatar International’s award Exceeding patient expectations for three years. This national award is presented to healthcare facilities whose overall score exceeds patient expectations based on three critical survey items gauging patient expectations about quality of care, reliability, and customization before their visit. 
This recognition for three years, ranks HDH in the top three percent for inpatient experience, ambulatory services, and emergency department care. Among the 350 U.S. hospitals included in Avatar’s patient surveys, 160 hospitals were located in California. Avatar found that 91% of HDH patients surveyed would return to HDH for future care, and more than 92% of respondents would recommend the hospital to others. HDH ranked as the top Sonoma County hospital in Avatar’s database.
