The HDH Orthopaedic Total Joint Replacement Program provides comprehensive pre- and post-operative rehabilitation services for patients undergoing total hip, shoulder and knee replacement. The program is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation specialists including: physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, case managers, and orthopaedic technicians.
HDH’s Orthopaedic and Total Joint Replacement Program will tailor a rehabilitation plan to your unique needs, including therapy and medication as well as chronic pain management. The road to full and complete rehabilitation is guaranteed as HDH’s rehabilitation services include physical, occupational, and hand therapy. Close communication between your orthopaedist and physical therapist provides you with an outstanding continuum of care.
Led by John D. Tomasin, M.D.the HDH surgical team includes experts in several major orthopaedic subspecialties, including joint replacement, foot and ankle care, spine care, and sports medicine. These physicians must meet strict criteria regarding experience and training, and all surgeons are board-certified in orthopaedics or neurosurgery. In addition, many are fellowship-trained, adding a higher level of expertise.
