Healdsburg District Hospital (HDH) recently unveiled their new Women’s Diagnostic Center (WDC), making cutting-edge medical innovations in women’s healthcare accessible to all women in the North Sonoma County Healthcare District.
The new Women’s Diagnostic Center provides comprehensive patient screening in an environment that fosters individualized attention and patient comfort. Thanks largely to the efforts of the Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County, and the generous donations and support by the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians and the Girlfriends for the Cure, the WDC is committed to increasing women’s access to the latest technology, including a state-of-the- art digital mammogram machine and DEXA scan equipment.
Thanks to a generous gift from “The Girlfriends for the Cure” we are able to provide free screening mammograms to qualifying patients in our hospital district. Please see your local physician in our hospital district to qualify.
Our partnership with the Redwood Regional Medical Group (RRMG) creates a seamless and comprehensive local resource for women, providing the most advanced level of diagnostic care and treatment available.
Every month is Breast Cancer Awareness month at the HDH Women’s Diagnostic Center and we encourage you to make your annual appointment today for your mammogram screening. Appointments can be scheduled by calling: (707) 473-4400.
