Nurse Practitioner School: Samuel Merritt University

Born in Oregon and raised in California, Shannon graduated Nursing school in 2004 from Oregon Health & Science University. Shannon went directly into ER nursing after graduating and has 15 years emergency experience. A highlight for Shannon was when her training took her to Guatemala for 4 weeks training in women’s and children’s health and Spanish immersion. She spent 10 years in San Francisco at St. Francis Memorial hospital and from 2016-2018 obtaining a masters at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland as a Family nurse practitioner.  Shannon worked at an Urgent care for 2 years prior joining Healdsburg physicians’ group. She has two young boys and enjoy swimming, river rafting and long walks to Starbuck’s.
